Since 2022, newenergy has been developing a new approach to spend control: combining technology, algorithms and business expertise to identify sums paid in error, claim them back and recover them.
We chose to start with one of the most complex verticals: energy. Millions of invoices, multiple tariff and regulatory rules, evolving contracts, thousands of delivery points and data that is hard to control. For many organisations, and especially for local authorities, the lack of time, resources and expertise makes this control extremely difficult to carry out in-house.
It is precisely this complexity that became our learning ground.
With ewatch, we have gradually transformed our teams' expertise into structured intelligence: control rules, proprietary algorithms, anomaly typologies, evidence, claims processes, supplier responses and results achieved. Every case handled enriches our ability to detect better, claim better and recover more effectively.
Today, newenergy no longer merely analyses invoices. We are building a Financial Control & Recovery platform capable of handling the entire chain: data collection and analysis, anomaly detection, quantification of recoverable amounts, evidence gathering, claims management and follow-up through to reimbursement.
92% of analysed missions reveal at least one anomaly.
From energy to the control of all complex spending
Energy is our first vertical, not our final destination.
We are now extending this approach to other categories of complex spending — water, telecoms, taxes, property charges, fees and other recurring expenses — wherever large volumes of data, complex rules and a lack of resources make control difficult.
After building and testing our model mainly with public-sector players and local authorities in B2G, newenergy is now extending it to businesses in B2B and preparing its international deployment. The need is universal: better control what is paid, recover what was paid in error and prevent the same losses from happening again.
Our ambition is to evolve ewatch from copilot to autopilot of financial control: learn from the past, control continuously, identify what should not be paid and act to recover what was paid in error.
Recover the past. Control the present. Stop paying twice tomorrow.
